Religious Education

Our Parish Religious Education Program (CCD) will remain at the Faith Formation Center at St. Joseph, from 10:15 to 11:45 AM on Sundays.  Please remember that participation in the Parish Program is necessary for sacramental preparation and reception.

Mass Schedule

Beginning the weekend of December 9-10, the Saturday Vigil Mass will be at St. Lucy at 5:30 PM.  Sunday Mass at 7:45 AM will be at St. Joseph, 9:00 AM Mass at St. John, and the noon Mass in Spanish will be at St. Lucy.  There will be a different schedule posted for the 4th Sunday in Advent/Christmas Day.  

Mass Time Change

Beginning Sunday, September 18, Mass will be celebrated at  9:00 AM.  Beginning Saturday October 14th, Mass will begin at 5:30pm

As of now, there are no changes to the Noon mass on Sunday.

Church Office Phones

Please note...the office is currently having trouble with our phone system.  We are in the process of updating our equipment.  The office is indeed open from 9am-3pm.  If you are connected to the answering service, it is during the period when the phones are being worked on.

Confirmation 2018

The Parent/Sponsor/Student information meeting for Confirmation is Sunday, October 1 during regular class time.  this is the only information session scheduled, so please be there.  Confirmation for our 8th grade students will take place on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at St. Columba Cathedral!

Church at Home Combined Collection

Next weekend parishes in the Diocese of Youngstown will hold the annual Church at Home combined collection. This three-in-one collection supports the national and local work of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development, the Catholic Communications Campaign, and the Catholic University of America/ Newman Campus Ministries collection next weekend for ministries of the Church at Home

Opportunities for College Students, Recent Graduates

The Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown have immediate opportunities for college students and recent graduates: Nonprofit Management or Education Specialist/ AmeriCorps Employee. Candidates must be college graduates ages 21+. Position will run one year. Employees will assist in a variety of duties with Ursuline Sisters ministries; Digital Communications Specialist/Graphic Artist: This is an unpaid internship. Student will create web content, Social Media items, etc.; Summer Service Learning Volunteer: We have openings in education for children, social service work, and companions/computer education for senior citizens and more.
